Color, Inc. started in Des Moines with 5 employees in 1955, and was then purchased by Allied in 1971. Color, Inc. maintains an average workforce of 50 painters year round, and has since gone on to become one of the largest painting contractors in Iowa.
Color, Inc. offers a wide range of services that include commercial painting, sandblasting, intumescent coatings, wall coverings, SNAP-TEX fabric wall panel systems, and Duroplex wall finishes.
In addition to Color’s corporate office in Des Moines, IA, we also have offices in Omaha, NE, Bettendorf, IA (which services Illinois), and Kansas City, KS (which also services Missouri).
Through our Color, Inc. division, we can provide professional painting and wall covering to decorate and coordinate any space-be it contemporary architecture or historic restoration.
